Manager, Laboratory Services

45 Min South of Madison, WI | Full-Time, 80 Hours Biweekly | Day Shift, Monday–Friday with 24/7 Accountability

Currently seeking a Manager of Laboratory Services to play a vital role in overseeing quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

As Manager of Laboratory Services, you’ll work alongside a collaborative team of five lab managers and report to the Laboratory Director. You’ll help lead operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, introduce new technology, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and staff development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting lab operations across a multi-site health system

• Ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance and survey readiness

• Leading performance improvement and quality initiatives

• Managing staff onboarding, training, competency checks, and performance evaluations

• Overseeing equipment acquisition, budgeting, and resource utilization

• Collaborating on system-wide laboratory strategy and innovation

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (required)

• 3–5 years of lab leadership experience

• Experience in a multi-hospital or integrated health system (preferred)

• ASCP certification (preferred)

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other performance improvement methodologies (a plus)
