Job Description
A respected hospital laboratory in Albany, NY is actively hiring two Cytotechnologists to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative and quality-focused environment, with a consistent day shift and competitive salary.
Location: On-site in Albany, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: $80,000–$105,000 per year (based on experience)
What You’ll Do:

Perform microscopic evaluation of cytology specimens with precision and efficiency

Screen and interpret gynecologic and non-gynecologic cases according to departmental protocols

Assist with specimen preparation and ensure proper documentation and labeling

Collaborate with pathologists and fellow lab staff to deliver high-quality, timely results
-
Follow quality assurance, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance standards

Maintain accurate records and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives
