IRL Clinical Laboratory Supervisor - Blood Bank Facility
- Location: Las Vegas, NV

- Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm / Weekends and Holidays may be required as needed.
Currently seeking a dedicated IRL Clinical Laboratory Supervisor who is passionate about making a positive impact. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to leading the way in life-saving missions. The successful candidate will play an integral role in overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring quality control, and providing technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Role Type: Working Supervisor – 3 days of supervision, 2 days of bench work
- Team Size: Supervising a team of 8
- Recruit, train, and evaluate laboratory personnel
- Ensure accurate preparation of reagents and quality assurance protocols
- Conduct competency assessments and maintain detailed documentation
- Perform equipment maintenance, quality checks, and calibrations
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform repairs as needed
- Manage inventory of supplies and reagents
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and budget planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Certification as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist
- CLIA certification for High Complexity Testing
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Preferred supervisory experience
- Preferred 2 years of experience in a reference laboratory setting
- Licensure: Must be able to obtain a Nevada Supervisor license
