A well-established hospital laboratory in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced Cytotechnologist to join their team. This is a full-time, day shift position with a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent day shift role

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Hospital-based laboratory setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microscopic examination and evaluation of gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens

• Document findings and collaborate with pathologists for diagnostic review

• Maintain quality control and adhere to regulatory compliance standards

• Participate in continuing education and cytology proficiency testing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program

• ASCP (CT) certification required

• New York State Cytotechnologist License required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cytotechnologist – no new graduates

• Excellent diagnostic and interpretive skills

• Strong communication and organizational abilities
