Job Summary:
A healthcare facility in Pleasant Grove, OH, is currently seeking to fill 4 openings for Medical Lab Technicians (MLT) to work the night shift. The ideal candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and patient safety in all tasks performed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank.

• Ensure proper handling, preparation, and storage of specimens.

• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.

• Follow safety and infection control procedures at all times.

• Interpret and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.

• Adhere to all regulatory and quality assurance guidelines.

• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring smooth laboratory operations.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.

• National certification as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT-ASCP or equivalent) is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle patient information confidentially.
