Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician - Night Shift
Location: Brockton, MA
Schedule: Night Shift – 4x8 Hour Shifts (32 Hours/Week)
Shift Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Flexible night shift start time may be considered)
Setting: Hospital-based clinical laboratory

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the night shift team at a reputable hospital in Brockton, MA. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and making a direct impact on patient care during the overnight hours.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures across multiple departments (Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, etc.)

• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment

• Accurately analyze and report test results in a timely manner

• Ensure compliance with all hospital, state, and federal guidelines

• Maintain quality control standards and participate in proficiency testing

• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field

• ASCP or AMT certification (or eligible)

• At least 1 year of generalist lab experience preferred (new grads encouraged to apply)

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Flexibility to work occasional holidays and weekends as needed
