Job Description
NEW Permanent Cytotech opening near West Reading, PA!
Responsibilities:
Performs microscopic examinations
Provides final interpretations of normal gynecological specimens
Provides initial interpretations of non-gynecological, FNA and abnormal gynecological specimens using standardized procedures
Assists in the collection and preparation of FNA and biopsy specimens for immediate evaluation
Understs method principles
Performs quality control and quality assurance activities
Evaluates results based on patient demographics and history
Works independently
Organizes work to meet established deadlines and validates all data obtained.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements
4 year/bachelor's degree
Certification and Licensure
ASCP Eligible
