Job Description
NEW Permanent Blood Bank Lab Supervisor Opening – Reno, Nevada
- Permanent full-time position
- Requirements
- Education: Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Medical Technology, or a closely related field according to current applicable state and federal regulations.
- Experience: Two (2) or more years of medical laboratory experience as a nationally certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist preferred.
- License(s): A current State of Nevada Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Histotechnologist license required at time of hire. General Supervisor or General Supervisor with a Specialty is required within 7 months of hire.
- Certification(s): National certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist MLS (ASCP); specialty certification in one or more areas of responsibility preferred. SBB would be excellent.
- Pay Range: $41-$61/hr depending on experience
- This position is located in the Reno, Nevada area with an outstanding 900+ bed hospital who is a Level II Trauma Center.
