Core Lab Manager

NEW Core Lab Manager Opening in Upstate New York – Monticello, NY Area

• Permanent full-time, ONSITE position
• Shift: Days, (8a-4p Monday-Friday)
• Supervise, coordinate and participate in providing core STAT laboratory services including but not limited to hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, immunohematology, limited microbiology and coagulation to meet the needs of patients as ordered by the medical staff and performed in accordance with defined standards and practices in general and unique to assigned section (s). Takes charge of the Laboratory in the absence of the Director, Lab Operations.
• The manager will supervise all technical staff- 20-25 people.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree Clinical Laboratory Technology or related science required. M.S degree preferred.
• Minimum Experience: Six years of medical laboratory experience, post licensure BS/BA. Specific area(s) specialization preferred. Prior Lab Manager experience preferred.
• Required Certification/Registration: NYS MT licensure required and ASCP preferred.
• This position is located only 2-hour northwest of Manhattan- enjoy the peace and quiet of upstate New York while also a short drive away from the city. This position is with an outstanding 150+ bed medical center offering competitive pay and FULL benefits!
• Pay range: $48-$60/hr depending on years of experience.
