NEW Laboratory Manager opening at a small hospital in Maine! This hospital prides itself on providing state-of-the-art technology and specialty services (such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT), General Surgery, and Orthopedics) that are not typically found in a small hospital.
This hospital is looking to hire a permanent and full time Laboratory Manager overseeing the day to day operations of the laboratory including proficiency, quality control, instrumentation maintenance and validation as well managing and training staff. For consideration, applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or Associate's Degree in Medical Technology (or related field). MT/MLS or MLT ASCP Certification (or equivalent) required. Lastly, applicants must have recent laboratory leadership experience.
