Responsibilities of the Laboratory Supervisor:
- Provides day to day supervision to the laboratory team for both operations and human resources management.
- Provides technical direction and develops, monitors, and takes appropriate action to improve overall departmental quality, as outlined by performance standards.
- Ensures training and competency assessments are completed.
Requirements of the Laboratory Supervisor:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Medical Technology or related biological science
- ASCP/AMT as a MT or MLT
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a MLT or MT
