Job Description
We are looking for a TN licensed Medical Technologist to oversee the Blood Bank/Transfusion Services Section of a busy hospital-based lab. Must have current Blood Bank/Transfusion Services expertise & experience with ASCP certification (MT, BB and/or SBB) and a BS degree in medical technology and/or related science. Team Leadership experience, as well as knowledge of policy, procedure and Q/A practices are also expected. Located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, the city is a Knoxville suburb offering a small-town feel with all the advantages of big-city amenities close by.
