Staff Accountant Conshohocken, PA
We are looking for an Accountant to join our growing medical company full-time in Conshohocken, PA. We need an accountant that is strongly proficient in Excel. The fundamental role of the Senior Accountant will be to handle all Joint Venture accounting in a timely manner. This will require a quick monthly close with all reconciliations and revenue reports with appropriate member distributions calculated accurately.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Extensive General Ledger Work
- Review the monthly P&L to ensure accuracy of expenses and all invoice billing, COGS and profit margins per unit and per JV members
- Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations across
multiple companies and JVs
- Ownership of the monthly close process with agreed upon key metrics
- Responsible for the monthly financials – Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow
- Track all incoming invoices for accuracy in the AP process
- Match invoices with pre-approved PO’s for payment
- Track all incoming payments against the A/R report
- Manage all the archived financial records
- Inventory Management and inventory counts/audits
- Extensive data entry in the inventory system
- Monthly JV Reporting to EC Management and members of the JV
Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Proper Applications
- Ability to create workpapers in a clear concise manner and execute a quick month-end workpaper package that supports the month-end financials for numerous JVs assigned to the Sr
- Ability to analyze data
- Critical thinking skills
- Accounting organizational skills to include strong GL expertise and GAAP treatment of GL entries
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated – can get close done on time each month
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently as needed
- Experience working with Microsoft programs
- Good knowledge of Excel a must
- Good knowledge of QuickBooks and/or other accounting software
- Ability to document work with legible handwriting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
- Previous work experience as accountant / Public Accounting experience helpful (3-10 Years preferred)
- Experience in QuickBooks very helpful
