Position Summary

Mia Aesthetics is looking for Pre-Op Coordinator/Medical Assistant to deliver excellent customer and patient service while educating the patient. The ideal candidate should be certified as a Medical Assistant and have prior work experience in a medical office.

In this role, the candidate will require but is not limited to:

  • Maintains patient confidentiality
  • Communicates to the patients in a manner that instills understanding and confidence about their pre-op procedure
  • Handles all telephone communications with patients regarding pre-operative care
  • Reports any problems or unusual circumstances to the clinical manager or doctor
  • Understands and follows procedures for pre-surgical and procedural processes
  • Takes Pre-Op photographs as appropriate
  • Identifies appropriate garment size for patient in preparation for post surgery
  • Displays consistent professionalism
  • Is energetic and empathetic with patients
  • Consistently display positive rapport with fellow employees.
  • Takes pride and ownership in success and image of practice
  • Performs clerical and administrative functions such as customer service and record keeping.
  • Provide excellent Customer Service, ensuring that client unique needs are meet
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant Certificate
  • BLS Certification
  • 1 Year of Customer Service Experience
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Medical Terminology preferred
  • Spanish Speaking preferred
  • Plastic Surgery Knowledge preferred
  • HIPAA & Osha Compliance Certification preferred
