Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center is looking for Locum Coverage Cardiothoracic-Surgeon! The preferred coverage includes clinic & OR + 24hr call.

  • Practice Setting:Â Office/ Hospital/ OR/ Rounding
  • Call Schedule:Â After office hours and weekends
  • Number of Operating Rooms:Â 1
  • Documentation System/EMR:Â Epic
  • Patient Age Demographic:Â Adult 18+
  • Scope of Services Required:Â Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery

REQUIRED DUTIES/PROCEDURES

  • Aortic Surgery Procedures Required:Â Descending Aortic Aneurysms
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required:Â CABG, Redo Coronary Revascularization(With or Without Heart Valve Surgery), Arterial Revascularization(Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery), Pericardial Window, Tube Thoracostomy, Thoracic aortic aneurysms
  • Thoracic Endoscopy Procedures Required:Â Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy, Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy, Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction, Mediastinal Surgery
  • Vascular Surgery Procedures Required: Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, Heart Valve Replacement Without Surgery (CoreValve® System), Mitral Valve Repair
