Matrix Providers is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) to join our team of healthcare professionals, providing services to Military Service Members and their families at the Naval Health Clinic in Quantico, VA.
Position Details:
Employment Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour + $4.57 H&W
Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM

Requirements for Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: Graduate from an accredited medical assistant training program (CAAHEP or ABHES), or a formal medical services training program of the U.S. Armed Forces. Graduates from state-accredited programs may also be considered.
Certifications: Must hold current certification from one of the following:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
Basic Life Support (BLS): Required (in-person class).
Experience: At least one year of post-graduation experience as a Medical Assistant.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
- Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Record vital signs (temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, blood pressure, pulse oximeter reading)
- Document patient medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies, and vital signs
- Perform diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider
- Maintain exam room supplies and equipment
- Complete lab and x-ray requisitions according to clinic policy
- Input patient demographic and visit information into the computer system
