We are looking for an active and driven Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for the Program Management staff at Matrix Providers. Other job duties include interaction with Matrix Providers corporate staff and leadership, as well as Matrix Providers Health Care workers who provide services at military hospitals and clinics nationwide. Assist with communication, education, problem-solving, and process improvement to meet contractual requirements and optimize customer satisfaction.

  • Employment Status: Full-time/Remote/Temporary (up to 90 days, with the possibility to extend)
  • Compensation: This is an hourly position, paid Bi-weekly.
  • Schedule: Day Shift - Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but employees must be available during “core” work hours and work at least 40 hours a week. Added weekend/after-hours work may be needed.

Requirements:

  • Ideal Administrative Assistant will be energetic, self-directed, and highly motivated
  • Technologically savvy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. in order to send emails, format resumes, download documents, and other duties; also, to include experience and proficiency with the internet research and advanced data entry skills.
  • Strong administrative skills (Assist with Reporting, input/output data from ATS, updating Staffing Rosters, scheduling)
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and ability to perform with accuracy and efficiency with close attention to detail.
  • Assist in reviewing packages (Credentials, Security) before submission
  • Assist with tracking reports/info as well as suspense dates, and deadlines
  • Assist with data management, gathering and compiling for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
  • Enthusiastic individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment both in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion always
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs of the organization
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check.
  • Out-of-area and overnight travel is to be expected occasionally.

Education:

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Associate Degree preferred

Responsibilities & Functions:

  • Reports to the Director, Program Management for Support Services, and Program Managers for daily operational supervision.
  • Must be able to work independently/without direction
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, follow-up, and people skills
  • Experience & Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Team, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, which promotes and supports the required full array of services necessary in a small business office environment
  • Expert computer skills that will allow accurate and timely responses to all work assigned
  • A “team player” mentality (i.e. the recognition that Matrix Providers is composed of a triad, the Customer, our Corporate Staff, and our Health Care Providers, all working in concert to provide the best medical care possible to our customer’s medical beneficiaries)
  • Ability to use Microsoft Teams
