Seeking a New York State licensed Histotechnician or Histotechnologist to join a great laboratory in Central New York!
-Schedule: Full-time Day shift position
-The ideal candidate will be be experienced in cutting and embedding

Job Description: Equipped with the latest medical technology, our histotechnicians assist pathologists and specialty consultants to perform both routine and complex pathology procedures to prepare tissue and other body specimens for microscopic examination. This includes properly orienting and embedding tissue, sectioning to a standard of quality set by the department, and demonstrating knowledge of specimen requirements and laboratory rejection policies.
Requirements:
- New York State license or limited permit as a histotechnician, medical laboratory technician, or medical technologist is required
- Experience as a histotechnician preferred
