Job Description
NEW Histotech OR Histology Technologist OR Histology Technician opening at an independent, clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory serving area hospitals, physician office and community-based clinics. This laboratory is equipped with the latest medical and information system technology and performs tests in chemistry, clinical studies, coagulation/hemostasis, cytology, device trials, hematology, histology, molecular diagnostics, microbiology, toxicology and transfusion services.
This is a permanent and full time position (shift flexible) - part time positions are also available. For consideration, applicants must have either a New York State license as either a Medical Technologist/ Clinical Laboratory Technologist OR Clinical Laboratory Technician OR as a Histotech. The histotech or histology technician will be responsible for both routine and complex histology procedures within histology. This facility is more than happy to train recent graduates but also does have opportunities for more experienced histotechs!
This laboratory is offering a comprehensive compensation package including a competitive hourly wage, comprehensive benefits package and a sign on bonus!
