A leading healthcare organization in South Florida is looking for a Lead Histotechnologist to join its laboratory team!

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations within the histology and cytology laboratory
-
Supervise specimen preparation, cutting, staining, and special testing
-
Coordinate laboratory workflow to maintain efficiency and productivity
-
Ensure timely specimen processing and turnaround times
-
Monitor specimen handling, identification, and quality control procedures
-
Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and quality standards
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required
-
Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory and supervisory experience
-
ASCP certification preferred
-
Strong knowledge of histology procedures and laboratory operations
-
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
