Histotechnician / Histotechnologist – Part-Time
Schedule: Part-Time
Setting: Dermatology / Pathology Laboratory
Employment Type: Permanent
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Histotechnician or Histotechnologist for a part-time opportunity
Responsibilities
-
Perform histology procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, and microtomy.

Assist with grossing and preparation of dermatology tissue specimens.

Prepare high-quality slides for pathologist review.
-
Maintain accurate specimen identification and documentation.
-
Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality control standards.
-
Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely specimen processing.
- 20 hrs a week
Qualifications
-
Previous histology experience required.
-
Hands-on grossing experience required.
-
Experience working with dermatology specimens strongly preferred.
-
Florida Histology license required.
-
HT or HTL certification preferred.
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
