Histology Technician – Full Time (2nd Shift)
We’re actively hiring a skilled Histology Technician to join a respected, fast-paced laboratory team in the Northeast. This is a great opportunity to grow your career with a highly supportive, team-oriented organization that values quality, innovation, and its employees.
Schedule: 2nd Shift
Pay: $38.00 – $55.00/hour
Status: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform embedding and microtomy for routine H&E and special stain procedures
- Prepare and stain slides with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Troubleshoot issues in processing, embedding, cutting, and staining
- Complete and document preventative maintenance on lab equipment
- Maintain strict quality control, safety, and compliance standards
Qualifications:
- Experience with microtomy and embedding required
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience (high-complexity testing preferred)
- HT or HTL (ASCP) certification preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related science field preferred
