Title: Histology Technician | Nassau County, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Compensation: $38.00 – $55.00 per hour (Based on experience)

The Opportunity:
Join our dedicated laboratory team in Nassau County as a Full-Time Histology Technician. In this role, you will play a critical part in the diagnostic process, ensuring the highest quality of patient care through precision microtomy, embedding, and staining procedures.
Join our dedicated laboratory team in Nassau County as a Full-Time Histology Technician. In this role, you will play a critical part in the diagnostic process, ensuring the highest quality of patient care through precision microtomy, embedding, and staining procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality slides for routine H&E and special stain procedures.
- Maintain laboratory excellence by performing and documenting preventative maintenance.
- Proactively troubleshoot issues within the processing, embedding, and cutting workflows.
- Uphold rigorous safety and quality control standards in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in microtomy and embedding.
- At least 1 year of high-complexity laboratory testing experience.
- High School Diploma required; BS/AS in Histotechnology or related science preferred.
- ASCP Certification (HT/HTL) and NYS Licensure are highly preferred.
