Job Description
Position: Histology Technician
Location: Long Island, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift
Pay: $38.00 – $55.00/hour

What you’ll be doing:
- Embedding tissue and preparing slides for H&E and special stains
- Performing microtomy and ensuring high-quality sectioning
- Monitoring and documenting preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting processing, embedding, cutting, and staining issues
- Maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards in a fast-paced lab
What they’re looking for:
- Hands-on experience with microtomy and embedding
- At least 1 year of high-complexity lab experience
- HT (ASCP) or HTL preferred (not required)
- Histotechnology program completion or science degree preferred
- State licensure
