Mohs Histology Technician – Day Shift, Monday–Friday

This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a Histology Technician to join a busy pathology laboratory supporting dermatopathology services. This role offers a stable weekday schedule, a collaborative lab environment, and the chance to apply advanced histology techniques while supporting high-quality patient care.

• Monday through Friday

• Day shift between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Your Role

• Perform complex histology procedures using a variety of techniques

• Accession, receive, prepare, and process tissue specimens

• Embed, cut, stain, and mount tissue samples for microscopic examination

• Operate cryostat and perform frozen sections as needed

• Conduct quality control on completed slides

• Identify and report abnormalities with appropriate oversight

• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and QA/QC records

• Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment

• Manage specimen tracking, storage, and inventory of lab supplies

• Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and training requirements
