NEW Histotechnologist / Histotechnician Opportunity
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
About the Role
Join a clinical laboratory team where you’ll play a key part in preparing human tissue samples for diagnostic evaluation. As a Histotechnician/Histotechnologist, you’ll perform embedding, microtomy, special stains, and IHC procedures, ensuring high-quality results that support accurate patient care.
What You’ll Do
-
Embed and section a wide variety of paraffin-embedded tissue specimens
-
Follow established protocols for embedding, microtomy, special stains, and IHC
-
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and proper QC procedures

Prepare and maintain fresh solutions, stains, and reagents
-
Assist with case assembly, slide and block filing, and specimen distribution

Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to safety guidelines

What You Bring
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Completed on-the-job or formal histology training
-
At least 1 year of experience in a histology lab performing embedding and/or microtomy - new grads are accepted as well!
- ASCP certification preferred
