Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized histology procedures including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining

• Prepare high-quality histologic slides for diagnostic interpretation

• Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens

• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies in accordance with regulatory guidelines

• Participate in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• ASCP certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related science field

• Minimum of 1 year of histology experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to laboratory best practices
