About this Company:
We are a rural non-profit community hospital located in the city of Roseburg, in the US State of Oregon. We have 171 licensed beds on a 90-acre (36 ha) campus, and the hospital has a heliport for patients arriving to the emergency room via helicopter. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. We are the only hospital in Douglas County, Oregon, and has been since 2000. With 1,139 employees, the hospital is the second largest employer in the county, and in Roseburg.

In the most recent year with available data, we've had 45,870 emergency room visits, 7,180 admissions, 1,679 inpatient surgeries, and 584 outpatient surgeries.

Overview:
We are actively seeking candidates for our Director of Behavioral Health Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) department at our award winning facility.

Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered):

- Psychologist licensed by the State Board of Psychologist Examiners OR a Registered Nurse Practitioner by the State Board of Nursing OR a Clinical Social Worker licensed by the Board of Clinical Social Workers
- Five (5) years behavioral health operations experience with at least one (1) year in an inpatient setting
- Two (2) years supervisory experience
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Federal and State Laws, guidelines pertaining to The Joint Commission, Medicare and Medicaid, and other insurance and payer sources
- Must have the ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff as well as the ability to interact well with the public
