A rural, coastal town located in Alaska is looking for an Infant Learning Specialist to provide services to infants and families who are enrolled in their program. This candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, a related field, or be a licensed social worker. Job Description:
- Conducts developmental assessments.
- Develops individualized Family Service Plans including outcomes, goals, and strategies.
- Provides service coordination.
- Consults with agency and resource providers.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Maintains the child's file for his/her caseload.
- Assists in Child Find activities.
- Provides home-based programming and visits to the community and surrounding tribal communities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education or a related field.
- Licensed Social Worker
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working with children.
- Must complete state mandated Part C credentialing during regularly scheduled work hours withing the first six months of the job.
