Registered Dietitian and Diabetes Educator needed in Nebraska

Join this nonprofit, fully accredited, 116-bed regional referral center serving west Nebraska, northern Kansas and northern Colorado. With nearly 100 physicians representing 30 medical specialties, the Health system offers advanced medical services, including heart and vascular, cancer, orthopedic services, women's services, and a level III trauma center.

Additional details:

• Certified Diabetes Educator status from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) or certification obtained within two years of date of hire
• Educates patients, patients’ family members, affiliated healthcare workers and the community about care management and the necessary lifestyle changes involved in a diabetes diagnosis
• Works cooperatively with all disciplines and the medical staff in the development of programs and plans of care
• Tasked with assisting with the quality coordinator for the diabetes education program, ensuring appropriate data is collected and quality goals reached in compliance with the national standards
