Job Description
A healthcare organization in Vermont is looking for a Registered Dietitian for a full-time position supporting both long-term care and inpatient services.
Position Highlights
- Approximately 40% long-term care and 50% inpatient, with 10% focused on quality improvement and other projects
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients at nutritional risk
- Develop and oversee individualized nutrition and hydration plans
- Provide nutrition education to patients and families
- Participate in care conferences, meal rounding, and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Dietitian
- Comfortable working in both long-term care and inpatient settings
- Knowledge of evidence-based nutrition practices
- Ability to assess residents for weight changes, wounds, and other nutritional concerns
- Strong documentation and electronic medical record skills
- Ability to support regulatory compliance and survey readiness
