Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a licensed dietitian to provide services at a facility in Hagerstown, Maryland. The facility serves adults with intellectual disabilities. The dietitian will provide on-site dietric care to approximately 62 patients residing in the facility. The dietitian will provide services in compliance with the ICF/ID standards of the Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ) and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Requirements:
• Active MD license
• Certified by the MD State Board of Dietetic Practice

Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one dietary services to residents in the facility.
• Assist the facility's interdisciplinary team to attain nutritional goals for individuals.
• Complete 56 hours of orientation training provided by the facility.
• Complete dietary assessments within 3 business days of new admissions.
• Complete monthly progress reports on individuals by the 15th of each month.
• Provide dietary consultations as needed by clinical staff.
• Provide diet instructions and nutritional screens for each resident.
• Update and complete weekly monitoring of food temperature log in each cottage kitchen.
• Track all weight loss or gain in medical charts and individual files.
• Complete monthly dining observations for each cottage and track observations in a log.
• Implement and track system for supplement and meal intake.
• Review individuals’ menus weekly.
