Job Description: Registered Dietitian
As a member of the treatment team, will implement the nutritional components of the patient's care plans to provide optimal patient outcomes using menu database
Interventions will include prescribing therapeutic diet orders to include oral supplements and enteral formulary that meets the patient's nutrition needs, providing nutrition education and counseling based upon the patients assessed nutritional needs, coordinating care with other disciplines to help ensure implementation of interventions, and providing documentation for assigned patients.

Attend patient treatment meetings weekly

Active involvement in planning food related activities with other treatment team members in patient care areas
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with major in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition or Food Service Administration; completion of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved dietetic education program; Registered Dietitian status; 2 years recent full-time experience as an R.D.

Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Maintain 75 hours of continuing professional education every 5 years to maintain registration. Certification by the Washington State Department of Health as a certified dietitian.

Per WAC 246-810-010, incumbent must possess and maintain a current Agency Affiliated Counselor or higher counseling-related credential from Washington State Department of Health
Salary: 59,616-80,112 Based on experience
