Hospital in NY is seeking a Full Time Ultrasound Technologist/Vascular Sonographer
This is a full time position offering competitive compensation and benefits. The position reports to: Adm. Director Medical Imaging and Cardiology.
Job Summary: This shared position will perform vascular studies through the Cardiology Department and ultrasound scanning procedures (general soft tissue studies) through the Radiology Department. Takes anatomical pictures to demonstrate organs. Reports preliminary findings and diagnoses to the radiologist or reading physician.
Job Qualifications:
Education:Graduate of an accredited ultrasound technologist program. RDMS or registry eligible.
Experience: Recent graduates will be considered. At least 1-2 years of experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Demonstrate proficiency in sonography knowledge and skills.
Licenses/Certifications BLS. RDMS or certificate of completion from an accredited ultrasound program.
