SONOGRAPHER CARDIOVASCULAR
Full Time - 72 Hours, Day Shift, will vary
Job Summary: Performs diagnostic Cardiovascular Ultrasound studies under the direction of the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Department. Helps to coordinate a wide variety of technical activities to ensure the efficient operation of theses diagnostic services. Provides assistance with scheduling of all cardiovascular procedures to maximize the efficiency of overall scheduling. Provides care to patients in acute acre, impatient, outpatient settings. Maintains equipment and facilities. Performs diagnostic echocardiograms for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Provides care to patients in acute care, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Requirements:
* Satisfactory completion of an approved Sonography program or approved Allied Health Program
* Sonography experience required to be registry eligible by ARDMS or CCI; or sufficient clinical experience in an allied health profession
* Registry in one ultrasound modality by ARRT, ARDMS or Registry: CCI within two (2) years of employment
* BLS Certification
