Job Title: Cardiovascular Sonographer – Flexible Schedule – Raleigh, NC

A respected healthcare provider in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer to join their imaging team. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with a guaranteed half-day on Fridays, promoting excellent work-life balance.

Shift/Hours:
Flexible scheduling – set your own hours. Typical schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM.

Typical Volume:
When working an 8-hour day, the candidate will perform approximately 6–8 studies, each lasting 1 to 1.5 hours.

Position Overview:
The Cardiovascular Sonographer will perform ultrasound imaging of cardiac and vascular structures, provide pre- and post-procedure care, maintain equipment, and manage imaging data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient assessments, including emergency cardiac care (CPR required)

  • Generate ultrasound images of the heart and vascular systems

  • Perform routine equipment calibration and maintenance

  • Prepare procedure rooms and maintain cleanliness between patients

  • Manage patient records and imaging data entry

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field OR completion of a 12-month ultrasound program (within 3 months of hire)

  • Registered (or registry eligible) with ARDMS or CCI, with registration required within 1 year of hire

  • No prior experience required
