Sonographer - GYN - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D Pay Rate: $1850.00 - 2100.00
2 years experience.
Graduate of an accredited AMA school
Epic experience needed
The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
*Nicotine-free facility - ALL FORMS OF NICOTINE - ASSIGNMENT WILL BE CANCELED & NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE FOR 12 MONTHS IF THERE IS A POSITIVE RESULT FOR ANY REASON*
50-mile radius rule. No more than a 3-month work history gap in the last year.
Required Qualifications
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
Preferred RVT registered but not necessary
