Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist - Echo Sonographer - (Cardiac - Echo - Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 01/10/2022Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1750.00 - 2050.00
Effective October 1st, 2021 all contractors at Essentia Health must show proof of 1st dose vaccine, or provide an exemption for review. By November 1st, all contractors must then show proof of completed COVID vaccine series, or have approved Exemptions. Failure to provide proof of vaccine or approved exemption will result in cancelation of the contract. 2+ years of experience. 50 mile radius rule. No more than a 3 month work history gap in the last year. Performs a variety of echocardiographic studies in the echo lab, patient care units, procedural units, or surgical setting for patients. Will provide measurement and image data to the Cardiologists for interpretation. The Echo Technologist may also perform other cardiovascular tests as required by Essentia Health Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab. No educational requirements. Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International. New hire technologists must be registry eligible and become registered within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 month of hire or transfer.
