Effective October 1st, 2021 all contractors at Essentia Health must show proof of 1st dose vaccine, or provide an exemption for review. By November 1st, all contractors must then show proof of completed COVID vaccine series, or have approved Exemptions. Failure to provide proof of vaccine or approved exemption will result in cancelation of the contract. The Registered Echocardiography Technologist is a member of the Echo Lab Team. The Registered Echo Technologist performs a variety of echocardiographic studies in the echo lab, patient care units, procedural units or surgical setting for patients ages pediatric to geriatric adult. The Registered Echo Technologist will provide measurement and image data to the Cardiologists for interpretation. The Registered Echo Technologist will be competent in the performance of Adult Transthoracic and Stress Echo Studies and Pediatric Transthoracic Echo Studies. The Echo Technologist may also perform other cardiovascular tests as required by Essentia Health Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab. The position will require the Technologist to drive to work at outreach facilities in Minnesota and Wisconsin as needed. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.Minimum qualifications:Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology associate degree program with supervised clinical experience in echocardiographyCurrent registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.BLS CertificationMust meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health 's insurer40 hours guaranteed weeklyDay/Eve rotationWeekends possible when census permitsHolidays: Yes

Minimum qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology associate degree program with supervised clinical experience in echocardiography
Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
BLS Certification
Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health 's insu
