Founded 60 years ago by 5 civic-minded women, this state-of-the-art children’s hospital has served families in central California with a mission to provide high quality, comprehensive healthcare services to children. It is the first children’s hospital west of the Rockies to receive Magnet designation and is accredited by The Joint Commission. This not-for-profit 348-bed facility is staffed with more than 525 physicians and treats more inpatient cases than any pediatric hospital north of San Diego.
