Registered Vascular Sonographer - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 06/07/2021Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1700.00 - 2000.00

2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. 2+ refs needed on file. The Vascular Sonographer is a skilled person qualified by technological education to provide patient services using diagnostic ultrasound under the supervision of a doctor of medicine responsible for the use and interpretation of ultrasound procedures. Assist the physician by gathering vascular sonographic data necessary to reach diagnostic decisions. Performs related duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent and one of the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) prerequisites for education and required clinical experience. Requries a registry or registry eligible status with the ARDMS. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS Heartsaver Card Other: Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: This individual must be capable of walking long distances, transporting ultrasound equipment and assist in lifting patients.
