Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist needed in a non-profit community hospital

Day shift, 8am - 5pm

The Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist is skilled and certified and performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures in at least two of the following specialty areas: abdomen/ob-gyn; neurosonography; vascular; breast; cardiac.

As a multispecialty Technologist, the employee will meet the requirements and perform the duties delineated in each of the specific job descriptions that qualifies him/her as a Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be ARDMS registered in at least Abdomen and Ob-Gyn, and be capable of working without supervision within the guidelines set up by the department manager. Be mature, responsible individual whose references indicate high medical, ethical standards. Have good oral and written communication skills.

Position is staffed M-F with limited evening and weekend call.

About the hospital:

Over it's 100 years, the medical campus has grown to include a surgical suite, obstetrics and gynecology division, 24-hour emergency department, pediatric ward, an intensive care unit, Medical/Surgical floor and branches for dialysis, orthopedics, neurology and sleep disorders, as well as areas for radiology, laboratory and physical therapy. In addition, services are provided at four rural health clinics affiliated with the hospital and health system.
