Job Description
Full-time Ultrasonographer needed at a top facility in California!

M-F, with 4,10’s being an option and no on-call responsibility.
Responsibilities include:
Ability to perform a variety of complex specialized tasks utilizing ultrasonic high frequency sound waves to detect abnormalities including masses, abscesses, and stones; assist physicians with biopsy procedures, guiding biopsy instrument using sonographic techniques; perform ultrasound procedures, color Doppler vascular examinations, abdominal studies and color flow ultrasound, Ob-Gyn procedures as required and/or echocardiogram; and utilize accessory equipment such as transducers, multi-format cameras, printers, etc.
Qualifications:
A two year Allied Health degree and successful completion of an AMA approved and/or an accredited School of Ultrasound Technology. Experience in an Acute Care setting is preferred; however experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility may be substituted for Acute Care experience. Must obtain RDMS certification in physics and one specialty with 12 months of employment. RDMS certification in physics and two specialty areas (abdomen, vascular or Ob-Gyn); BLS Certification required.
