Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 07/22/2019Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1700.00 - 2000.00
WILLISTON, NORTH DAKOTA. START DATE: 7/22/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: 8 hour day shifts Participate in call rotation (1:3), call back is minimal. REQUIRED: 2 years exp. BLS/BCLS, ARDMS (AB)Must be Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer1.Positions patients for exams to obtain optimal image quality.2.Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain patient cooperation.3.Positions equipment and sets technical factors to obtain optimal studies.4.Performs portable exams as requested.5.Provides assistance to the Radiologist or provider during invasive procedures such as biopsies, and localizing procedures.6.Utilizes teleradiology equipment as needed.7.Utilizes hospital information system and radiology information system as required forcharges and proper patient status.8.Performs Ultrasound studies by independently scanning patient part as ordered.9.Provides Radiologist with Technologist interpretation.
