Registered Vascular Sonographer - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 06/24/2019Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $41.00 - 46.00
HILLSBORO, TEXAS. START DATE: 6/24/2019 for 8 weeks. SHIFT: 8-hour days and 2 days of call per week. REQUIRED SKILLS: 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. NO online Healthstream Modules are required. The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
