Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 06/03/2019Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $41.00 - 46.00

SITKA, ALASKA. START DATE: 6/3/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: Primary Days, Some shared call/discussed at interview. REQUIRED SKILLS: RDMS in Ultrasound and ARRT in X-ray. 2+ years Ultrasound experience and 1 year Radiography experience preferred. Associates degree with certification in diagnostic sonography. Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program. Graduate of an accredited Radiographic program, preferred. Perform ultrasound and radiographic exams within the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). Assist medical staff in fluoroscopy and special techniques and procedures. Schedules patients and performs other office functions in a small department. Maintain quality control documentation. Responsible for diagnostic imaging in ultrasound, and radiography; works independently in performing these exams. Collaborate with radiologists, providers and other technologists to improve patient care while understanding that lack of communication can adversely affect patient health. Provide on-call services on a rotational basis. Works with SEARHC staff to create a strong team environment.
