Registered Vascular Sonographer - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 03/25/2019Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $41.00 - 46.00

START DATE: 3/25/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: 40 hours per week, all shifts; Call Requirements: Yes, every fourth weekend and one day per week. REQUIRED SKILLS: RDMS AND RVT. 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. Patient Ratios - 70/30. Type of equipment - GE. EMR - Epic. Scrub Color - brown. The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
