Job Description
A healthcare organization in Southern California is looking for a Mammography Technologist III for a full-time day shift position.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, day shift with 8-hour shifts
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and DEXA exams
- Assist radiologists with breast ultrasound biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, breast localizations, and other breast procedures
- Train Mammography Technologists in breast ultrasound, mammography, and DEXA
- Complete quality control and quality assurance for mammography, ultrasound, DEXA, and biopsy equipment
- Accurately document exams and findings in EHR and PACS
- Work at both main campus and satellite facilities
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) required
- ARRT Breast Sonography (BS) or ARDMS Breast (BR) required
- California Radiologic Technologist Mammography license required
- American Heart Association BLS required
- At least 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist II or 2 years as a licensed Breast Sonographer
- Proficiency with mammography, breast ultrasound, and DEXA equipment
