Mammography Technologist III
Looking for a new mammography opportunity?
A healthcare organization outside of Palm Springs, California is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join its imaging team.
Position Highlights
- Full-time | 8 hour shifts
- Perform screening & diagnostic mammography
- Perform breast ultrasound and DEXA exams
- Assist with stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies & breast localizations
- Support CESM and ductogram procedures
- Perform ongoing quality control/quality assurance
- Train Mammography Technologists in breast ultrasound, mammography & DEXA
- Work across main and satellite facilities
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (R) and (M) certification
- ARRT Breast Sonography (BS) or ARDMS Breast (BR)
- California CRT Mammography license
- BLS certification
- 2+ years as a Mammography Technologist II or licensed Breast Sonographer
- Strong experience with mammography, breast ultrasound & DEXA
- Comfortable assisting with breast procedures and working closely with radiologists
- Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills
