Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist (Breast Imaging) to join a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare team near Quinby, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mammography Technologist to play a key role in women's health by providing high-quality breast imaging services in a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography and breast imaging examinations in accordance with established protocols.

• Position patients accurately and ensure optimal image quality.

• Explain procedures clearly and compassionately while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.

• Operate and maintain mammography and related imaging equipment.

• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies.

• Review images for quality and ensure appropriate documentation is completed.

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.

• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

• Provide a professional, reassuring experience for patients throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications

• College degree required.

• ARRT certification required.

• Prior mammography/breast imaging experience required.

• Strong knowledge of mammography procedures, positioning, and image quality standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to patient-centered care and women's health.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
